Scarlet Tapestries - Sewing Program
Sarah’s House residents and volunteers alike, can participate in our sewing program called Scarlet Tapestries. We have beginner sewing classes and do simple sewing projects for Sarah’s House fundraising and community outreach purposes. These classes and workshops are held on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons from 1 to 4pm.
You can join us and learn new sewing skills or use the skills you already have to help us with our simple projects.
There’s no need to register, you are welcome to drop in anytime between 1 and 4 pm and see what we’re working on and join right in. We have plenty of sewing machines and sewing tools available.
You can join us at our sewing studio at the Connect Palmer Training Center at 202 S. Alaska St. , We our using Practical Skills Training, Community Outreach to Sew the Hope of Christ’s Love and Grace into Hearts and Lives of young women of all ages.
We also have another fun Sewing Event once a month that anyone can join in.
F Troop- Fun Fabric, Favorite Foods, and Fun Friends on the 4th Friday of the Month from Five pm till we Faint!
You can bring whatever project you want to bring sewing, knitting, crochet, or whatever project you’d like to work on for the evening. Bring a treat to share and a friend is nice, or make some new friends at F Troop.
